Last week, Global Arbitration Review published their annual survey Who's Who Legal, announcing the top international arbitration experts. Compass Lexecon had 14 experts from six countries and three continents recognized as top economic experts, including Professor Pablo Spiller who was named one of the five most highly regarded experts by the survey. The ranking, which includes 123 of the world's most highly regarded arbitration damages and valuation practitioners, is published every year and is based on a survey of top law firms as well as independent lawyers.
Compass Lexecon experts recognized this year included Manuel Abdala, Lorenzo Coppi, Kevin Dages, Santiago Dellepiane, Neil Dryden, Dan Fischel, Pablo Guidotti, Joseph Kalt, Miguel Nakhle, Jorge Padilla, Marcelo Schoeters, David Sevy, Pablo Spiller and Sebastian Zuccon.
The publication cited Pablo Spiller as a "legendary figure", Manuel Abdala was called "pre-eminent for treaty disputes", Joseph Kalt was cited as "renowned", and it acclaimed Santiago Dellepiane's testimony as "perceptive, to the point and extremely well reasoned." Our European experts were highlighted calling Jorge Padilla "formidably intelligent", David Sevy "well known for his competition expertise" and Neil Dryden "recognized for his economics background and the quality of his work." And finally, Latin American expert Sebastian Zuccon was cited for his work on 30 international arbitration cases.
Global Arbitration Review's Who's Who Legal recognized our experts for their extensive experience acting as damages and valuation experts in domestic and international arbitration, including disputes under AAA, ICC, SCC, ICSID and other arbitration venues and often delivering expert testimony in those proceedings.
