Today, on International Women's Day, we are proud to announce that five Compass Lexecon experts have been recognized by W@Competition in their '40 in their 40s Notable Women Competition Professionals' 2019 list. Kirsten Edwards-Warren, Elizabeth Xiao-Ru Wang, Elena Zoido, Patricia Lorenzo and Valérie Meunier are among the 40 finalists listed in the Economics & Academia category. The independent judging panels selected 40 finalists per category from about 800 nominations submitted by peers across the global W@Competition network.

Compass Lexecon Senior Managing Director, Jon Orszag commented, "We are very proud to have more world-renowned female experts in their 40s than any other consulting firm. Thank you to W@Competition for recognizing what we see every day in Kirsten, Elizabeth, Elena, Patricia and Valérie."

The final listings were announced at the 3rd Annual W@Competition Conference in Brussels on February 21st, where Kirsten Edwards-Warren spoke on a panel on excessive pricing, exploitative abuse and exclusionary conduct. The '40 in their 40s' recognition is part of the fast-growing W@Competition initiative – a free membership platform which aims to increase the visibility of women professionals in competition based on merit and to facilitate networking.
