Compass Lexecon economists have been recognized by Global Competition Review in the annual GCR Team Awards held in April 2022. Compass Lexecon teams globally advised in the following winning matters:
- Matter of the year and Litigation of the Year - Non-cartel defence: Epic Games v Apple litigation
- Merger control matter of the year – Americas: Discovery/WarnerMedia merger - Compass Lexecon provided economic support to the merging parties and their legal advisors globally. The Compass Lexecon team was led by Mark Israel in the U.S. and Miguel de la Mano, Lau Nilausen and Rameet Sangha in Europe and Latin America, as well Compass Lexecon staff from 6 offices in the US and Europe.
- Behavioural matter of the year – Europe: European Commission’s car emissions cartel investigation - Compass Lexecon advised one of the car manufacturers with a team led by Enrique Andreu and Miguel de la Mano.
