Yvette Austin Smith Recognized as Executive of the Year by New York Institute of Credit

Senior Managing Director and Chair of Compass Lexecon's Global Finance practice, Yvette Austin Smith, has been awarded Executive of the Year by the Women’s Division Committee of the New York Institute of Credit. The award recognizes excellence and entrepreneurial spirit and is presented to those who have made strides in business and helped other women find success.

Ms. Austin Smith leads our New York office and is a recognized finance expert in multiple areas. She specializes in M&A and bankruptcy disputes with subject-matter expertise in valuation and credit and solvency analysis. She is a highly sought-after expert by major law firms and international clients and has submitted expert oral and written testimony in multiple U.S. and international venues and arbitration forums.

Prior to joining Compass Lexecon, Ms. Austin Smith was Chair of the Board and M&A Litigation practice leader at The Brattle Group.

Ms. Austin Smith received her award at the 16^th Annual Women in Achievement Awards in New York City on February 8th.
