Compass Lexecon advises Voltalis on investment project in smart electricity consumption

In early March 2023, Voltalis completed a significant investment of nearly €100 million in order to equip 400,000 homes with smart management of electricity consumption. Smart management allows households to better monitor and control their consumption, thereby enabling them to make important energy savings. Voltalis is an European provider of intelligent electricity services, relying on Demand Response technology to optimise energy consumption.

Compass Lexecon supported Voltalis in the transaction process by providing French power market analysis and modelling to the different transaction stakeholders and Demand Response revenue projections under a range of scenarios using our in-house pan-European hourly power dispatch model. Our team included Fabien Roques, Yves Le Thieis and Pierre-Emmanuel Peslier.
