On 20 January, Compass Lexecon partnered with Clifford Chance and Concurrences to host the first Tech Antitrust Conference in Palo Alto, California. Executive Vice Presidents John Davies and Nathan Wilson moderated roundtables between enforcers and in-house counsel in the digital and tech sector, and Senior Managing Director Jon Orszag gave a welcome speech . Nathan Wilson moderated the second panel, alongside Leigh L. Oliver (Partner, Clifford Chance, Washington D.C.). Speakers discussed their companies’ perspectives on antitrust.
Panel 3 – Enforcers Roundtable: Comparing Global Digital Enforcement Trends
John Davies and Peter Mucchetti (Partner, Clifford Chance, Washington D.C.) moderated the third panel. The discussion focused on the new legal instruments in the different agencies, the international cooperation in antitrust between the agencies and technology as one of the main areas of enforcement for competition authorities.
