Expert John Davies joins Jérôme Philippe of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in a short webinar to discuss antitrust issues, including price fixing, excessive pricing and cartels, from an economic and legal perspective in the context of the COVID-19 crisis. They will debrief statements shared by DG COMP speakers Maria Jaspers (Head of the Antitrust case support and policy Unit) and Rainer Becker (Head of the Antitrust Pharma and Health Services Unit) on the specific antitrust challenges faced and the first measures taken by the European Commission to address them, during the preliminary webinar on 17 April.
