Compass Lexecon has announced the appointment of Lorenzo Coppi, Neil Dryden and Kirsten Edwards-Warren as Co-Heads of its Europe, Middle East and Africa (“EMEA”) practice, effective 1 January 2024.
Jorge Padilla, who founded the practice in 2002, will move to the position of EMEA Chair and will continue advising clients.
Dr. Padilla commented: “I am delighted with this transition in the leadership of the Compass Lexecon EMEA practice. I have worked with Kirsten, Neil and Lorenzo for many years – they make an outstanding team, and I am excited to see where their energy and ideas will take the business in this next chapter. I have made a long-term commitment to supporting them as EMEA Chair and am pleased to focus my efforts on client work and thought leadership.”
Dr. Coppi, Mr. Dryden and Ms. Edwards-Warren will continue building their expert and consulting practices alongside their new leadership responsibilities. In a joint statement on their appointments, they said: “We can only start by recognising the immense contribution Jorge has made to creating and growing the EMEA practice, and we look forward to working with him on many more cases in the future. At the same time, we are excited by the opportunity to work with all of our colleagues to build on the firm’s leading position on competition matters and disputes, and deliver on its vision to be the leading economic consulting group in all its practice areas. We also look forward to continuing to work with colleagues in the US, Asia, and around the world to build on what is already the world’s largest and best global economic consultancy.”
