Professor Peter Reiss, Renowned IO Economist, Affiliates with Compass Lexecon

We are pleased to announce that Professor Peter Reiss has affiliated with Compass Lexecon. Professor Reiss is the MBA Class of 1963 Professor of Economics, Emeritus, at The Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
Professor Reiss is a nationally renowned applied microeconomist who adds to our firm’s extensive expertise in industrial organization, econometrics, and data science. Professor Reiss is also an accomplished expert witness.
Professor Reiss’s research has appeared in leading economics and econometrics journals including the American Economic Review, the Journal of Political Economy, the Journal of Econometrics, the Review of Economic Studies, and the Rand Journal. Professor Reiss’s work has analyzed, among other topics, entry and competition in industries including financial markets, airlines, autos, retail, electricity, and services.
Professor Reiss has also served on numerous editorial boards including the Brookings Papers (Microeconomics), Applied Econometrics, the American Economic Review, Econometrica, Quantitative Marketing and Economics, and on the NSF Economics Review Panel. Additionally, he has testified before the Antitrust Modernization Committee and has been recognized as a Thought Leader in Competition by Lexology.
