Andrés Casserly is a Senior Vice President with Compass Lexecon based in Buenos Aires. Mr. Casserly specializes in the valuation of businesses and other assets; economic, financial and regulatory analysis; and the assessment of damages in the context of international and commercial arbitrations.
Mr. Casserly has participated in more than 30 litigations and treaty and commercial disputes in multiple courts, including ICSID, UNCITRAL, ICC, and PCA, amongst others, designing and leading teams involved in the implementation of customized valuation models and preparation of expert reports.
Mr. Casserly has worked across a number of industries, including oil and gas, mining, power generation and distribution, road concessions, railroad concessions, steel products manufacturing, logistics, consumer goods, forestry and real estate and hospitality, with an emphasis in developing countries. These engagements have involved projects in diverse locations including Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Croatia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Panama, Uruguay, Venezuela, and Zambia.
Mr. Casserly holds a B.A. in Economics from Universidad Católica Argentina. Prior to joining Compass Lexecon, he worked as part of LECG’s International Arbitration Practice.
