Antoine Gracia Victoria is a Senior Vice President at Compass Lexecon, based in Paris. Antoine has advised in several antitrust, regulation, cartel, merger, and damage assessment cases.
Antoine is also involved in the Data Science team of Compass Lexecon, with a particular focus on thought leadership aiming to unlock the full potential of Data Science in competition cases.
Antoine has worked on cases in the telecommunications sector in France and other European countries, including mergers (British Telecom/Everything Everywhere and Altice/SFR) and abuse of dominance cases in the broadband and fixed telephony markets. He has also provided economic advice in a variety of Article 101 TFEU and follow-on litigation cases in France (desserts, dairy products, home care, and personal care products) and international arbitration cases.
Prior to joining Compass Lexecon, Antoine worked as a senior manager for a data science consultancy. Antoine was in charge of the design of econometric and machine learning modeling to measure the marketing performance of Fortune 500 companies.
Antoine also worked as an economist for the French electronic communications (ARCEP) and media (CSA) regulators. As deputy head of economics and research at the CSA, Antoine helped shape the position of the Counsel on the regulation of the media sector in the digital age – notably in the context of competition cases (merger of free TV channels, review of remedies of the main pay-TV player, etc.).
Antoine graduated from the French National School of Statistics and Economic Administration (ENSAE), where he specialized in microeconomics. Antoine holds a master’s degree in econometrics and economics of innovation from La Sorbonne Paris School of Economics.
