Antonio M Crea del Blanco

Antonio M. Crea del Blanco is an Economist at Compass Lexecon, based in Buenos Aires.

He has worked with Compass Lexecon for over five years, primarily involved in the valuation of businesses and assets and economic, financial and regulatory analysis in the context of commercial and investment arbitrations.

Antonio has primarily worked on arbitration proceedings under ICSID, ICC and UNCITRAL rules, leading teams in the production of expert reports. He has worked in cases in various industries, including banking, financial, agribusiness and oil and gas (exploration, production, and distribution) with investments in countries including Argentina, Venezuela, Bolivia, Perú, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Spain, and Uruguay. These matters involved economic, financial and regulatory analysis, the development of complex and customised valuation models, the drafting of expert testimony, expert witnesses' preparation for hearings, and direct support to counsel and client throughout arbitration proceedings.

Antonio holds a master’s in finance from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella and a B.A. in Economics from Universidad de Buenos Aires. Before joining Compass Lexecon, he worked as an Equity and Credit Research analyst in Crisil, where he worked as an offshore research analyst.
