Ben is an Economist at Compass Lexecon, based in London.

Ben specializes in the application of economic theory and analysis to competition cases. His experience covers a wide range of sectors including semiconductors, digital platforms, biopharma, entertainment & media, technology, transportation, e-commerce, and insurance brokerage.

Ben has been involved in several high-profile cases relating to mergers, market investigations, and abuses of dominance before the European Commission, the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), and other national competition authorities. Ben is also part of the team providing economic support in an ongoing litigation before the UK Competition Appeal Tribunal (CAT).

Ben has a MPhil in Finance and Economics from the University of Cambridge, and a BA in History and Economics from the University of Oxford.
