Isaac is an Economist at Compass Lexecon, based in London.
Isaac’s work focuses on the application of economic analysis to competition policy cases. His experience covers a range of industries including manufacturing, energy, financial services and digital.
Isaac has been involved in merger cases before the UK CMA (Altrad/Stork UK), the European Commission (Glencore/Teck), the Canadian Competition Bureau (Bell Media/Outfront) and various other competition authorities. He also has experience in using econometric analysis to estimate overcharges and pass-on in the context of litigation and arbitration proceedings. Recent cases include the class action case Merricks v Mastercard and an arbitration between GrafTech and ArcelorMittal. Isaac is also part of the team that advises a heavy truck manufacturer in the context of damages proceedings following an Article 101 TFEU infringement.
Isaac holds an MPhil in Economics from the University of Cambridge and a BA in Economics from the University of Cambridge.
