Jorge Casanova

Jorge is an Economist at Compass Lexecon, based in Madrid.

Jorge specializes in applying economic analysis and econometric techniques to competition policy cases. He has advised clients on competition matters, including follow-on damage claims.

He is part of the team advising a heavy truck manufacturer in the context of follow-on damages litigation proceedings and estimating damages for a client following anti-competitive practices in the fuel distribution market

Before joining Compass Lexecon, Jorge worked for two years as a research assistant at the Fundación de Estudios de Economía Aplicada (FEDEA).

He holds an M.Sc. in Economics and Finance from the Barcelona School of Economics (GSE). Jorge is native Spanish speaker and is fluent in English and French.
