Laura Ashirepbay

Laura Ashirepbay is an Economist at Compass Lexecon, based in Brussels.

Laura specialises in the application of economic analysis and econometric techniques to the study of competition policy, including the competitive impact of mergers and damages estimations. She has worked in a wide range of sectors, including FMCG, travel services, transportation, software, and biotechnology.

Her notable cases relate to mergers and damage estimations before the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) and Competition Appeal Tribunal (CAT).

Laura holds an MSc in Economics and Finance from the RoME program at Luiss Guido Carli University and a BA in Economics from Nazarbayev University.
