Oliver März

Oliver März is a Senior Economist at Compass Lexecon, based in Berlin.

Oliver has several years of experience advising clients in all aspects of competition economics. He has experience working on high-profile cases before the European Commission and national competition authorities, including merger notifications, antitrust investigations and cartel damages litigation. He has worked on cases in a variety of industries covering automotive, chemicals, consumer goods, industrial goods, pharmaceuticals and telecoms.

Before joining Compass Lexecon in 2022, Oliver was a Consultant in NERA’s European Competition Team in Berlin, where he worked on mergers, antitrust investigations and cartel damages cases.

Oliver holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Université libre de Bruxelles and a double-degree Master’s in Economics from the Université libre de Bruxelles and the University of Mannheim. His research has been published in journals such as Competition Law & Policy Debate, Economics Letters, European Competition Journal, and Management Science.
