Patrick Coen

Patrick Coen is an Academic Affiliate at Compass Lexecon, based in Toulouse.

Patrick is an Assistant Professor at the Toulouse School of Economics. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the London School of Economics and an M.Sc. in Economics from Birkbeck, University of London. Prior to joining the Toulouse School of Economics, he acted as a freelance economic contractor working on competition economics and financial economics projects. He also spent three years as an Assistant Director of Economics at the UK Competition and Markets Authority.

Patrick's research interests are in financial economics, industrial organization, and competition policy. He has been invited to multiple seminars and presentations held by institutions such as the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Imperial College, University of Princeton, Stanford Graduate School of Business, Universitat Pompeu Fabra, and Queen Mary University of London.
