Peter Reiss

Peter Reiss is an industrial organization economist and applied econometrician. His research has appeared in leading economics and econometrics journals. His industrial organization research has assessed entry and competition in various industries, including financial markets, airlines, autos, retail, electricity, and services. His applied econometric research covers topics in estimation and inference. He has served on numerous editorial boards, on the NSF Economics Review Panel, and testified before the Antitrust Modernization Committee. He began his career at Stanford's Graduate School of Business in 1982 and became an emeritus MBA Class of 1963 Professor in 2023. Professor Reiss has served as an expert on a variety of class action and antitrust cases.
