Saffi Wu is an Economist at Compass Lexecon, based in Singapore.
Since joining in 2019, Saffi has been involved in a large number of high-profile competition cases.
Saffi’s analytic focus is on merger analysis, and has advised on cases before the European Commission as well as national competition authorities. Her sector expertise spans across telecommunications, transportation, and retail.
Saffi’s merger experience includes: Orange/MasMovil, Cargotec/Konecranes, HHI/DSME, and LafargeHolcim/First Stronghold Cement Industries, etc.
Saffi graduated with her bachelor’s degree from the Xiamen University, and obtained her master’s degree at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, specialising in Financial Mathematics.
Saffi is fluent in Mandarin and English.
