Sam Carless

Sam Carless is a Vice President with Compass Lexecon based in Washington, DC.

Sam’s work focuses on the application of economic analysis and econometric techniques to competition policy cases, primarily merger cases, but also antitrust cases and damages proceedings. His experience covers a wide range of industries, including energy, manufacturing, and transportation, across several jurisdictions, including the European Commission, the UK’s CMA, and the Federal Trade Commission, among others.

Sam holds an MPhil in Economics from the University of Cambridge and a BA in Economics from the University of Exeter.
