Sangwoo Choi is a Senior Economist with Compass Lexecon based in Beijing. Dr. Choi received his PhD in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin in 2021 with the dissertation examining the monopolistic behavior of a digital platform. 

Dr. Choi specializes in antitrust investigation, antitrust litigation, IPR litigation, and platform economics. Prior to joining Compass Lexecon, he worked as a research economist at Luohan Academy, a social science research institute founded by Alibaba Group, where he conducted both qualitative and quantitative research on how digital platforms benefit society. Dr. Choi received his B.A. in Business Administration from Sogang University in South Korea.
