Segye Shin

Segye Shin is a Vice President at Compass Lexecon, based in London.
During his time in economic consulting, Segye has been involved in a range of competition policy and telecoms regulation cases before the European Commission, the UK regulatory and competition authorities, and other national competition authorities and courts. He has also been seconded to the UK Office of Fair Trading.
Segye was awarded the Lexology Client Choice Award 2024 in the Competition Economists category in the United Kingdom.
Segye holds a D.Phil in Economics from the University of Oxford. His doctoral research was in the area of empirical industrial organisation, focusing on economics of auctions and online platforms. He also holds a M.Sc. in Economics from Birkbeck College, University of London and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Cambridge.
