Sencer Ecer, Ph.D., is a Senior Vice President with Compass Lexecon and was previously a Principal at LECG, Washington, DC. He managed numerous matters in international arbitration, antitrust, and regulation practices and opined on damages, anti-competitive conduct, regulations, and public policy. He has significant industry experience in pharmaceuticals, electricity, telecommunications, tourism, and diamonds. He recently managed two high-profile domestic litigation cases on issues in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics.

Dr. Ecer received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a former Professor of Economics at the Department of Economics of Istanbul Technical University, which he helped found. He was previously an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown, Koc, and Sabanci Universities. During his academic tenure, he regularly taught Microeconomics and Health Economics at all levels. Dr. Ecer also supervised thirty nine master’s theses and two Ph.D. dissertations and has written extensively on Industrial Organization, Regulation, and various Public Policy issues, which can be accessed at https://sencerecer.net/.
