Thomas Coibion is an Economist at Compass Lexecon, based in London.
Thomas has worked on a range of high-profile competition matters, including merger control, market studies and investigations, regulatory reviews, and commercial litigations.
Prior to joining Compass Lexecon, Thomas worked as a Director for five years in a consulting firm leading a team of 15 analysts advising FTSE 100 companies on EU/UK competition and regulatory policy matters.
Thomas has sectoral experience across a number of industries, with a focus on technology, digital platforms, media and telecommunications, and financial institutions and products.
Thomas holds an MPhil in Economics from the University of Cambridge. He is fluent in English and French.
