Zain Ul Abideen Shahid is a Senior Economist with Compass Lexecon based in Washington, DC. He has experience consulting on M&A and antitrust litigation cases in a wide range of industries including healthcare, telecommunications, technology, digital advertisement, automobiles, and fast moving consumer goods. Mr. Shahid specializes in antitrust economics, applied econometrics, and the analysis of large, complex datasets. Prior to joining Compass Lexecon, he worked on measuring the economic impact of government interventions in public finance, education, and law using randomized controlled trials.
Mr. Shahid holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration in International Development from Harvard Kennedy School, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Mathematics from Lahore University of Management Sciences.
